This recovering Type A gal has realized for months on end that I have not blogged on my website in EONS.
Okay, maybe my fondness for the term “eons” is an exaggeration, but I am ever mindful that I have been LAX in maintaining this blog. I could offer numerous excuses: A sad relationship ending. Painful family matters. Another trip to Hawaii. Another big project on which I’ve been working. Guest blogging for some national sites. Too many groups I’m facilitating. I could add a big “And blah, blah, blah.”
You know what, though?
It’s like I tell my coaching clients: We make time for what’s important to us, whether it’s time with God, exercising, decluttering, and a whole lot of other things.
And since this COVID-19 pandemic–and even prior to that– I have been in a discernment period regarding my business and the direction in which I want to take it. I have and continue to look to God’s leading on this as I refocus my energy and create a new or updated website and strategy.
I’ve learned much in the past year, including
*What my mission really is
* Boundaries I need to tighten regarding clients
* That I must write to encourage others in their Christian journeys
* That I am craving a reset with this new direction and am looking forward to a new focus… a better ME to speak LIFE into others.
I just made my first blog post in months. Stay tuned…
And please, let me know how I may pray for you. Email me at email@example.com, and I promise I will join you in praying and will lift you up in prayer.
Thanks for praying for me as I further discern God’s will for my own life.
